Needs
Completion of the Bakhma Dam would provide several benefits including significant installed hydropower capacity, flood control through regulation of the Greater Zab River, and water supply for irrigation and municipal and industrial uses.
Objective
Dam could contribute to provide storage for irrigation and additionally to cover up to hydropower energy demand.
