Description

The main scope of the submerged weir is to prevent groundwater intrusion and enhance irrigation potential increasing water levels. Such structure is planned on Al-Atshan River before its meeting point with Al-Sabeel River within Muthanna Governorate. Another scope is todischarge the water at the low elevations to Sleibat depression.
