A complete history of maintenance, problems, as built drawings, ect. needs to be established for each project. Much of this data was looted or destroyed. A focused effort need to be made to accumulate, copy, and archive project documentation and manuals. This documentation concerns technical information for all dams

To effectively manage the national system of dams and barrages requires that detailed information for each facility be maintained for easy retrieval. This established database will assist with operations, repairs, and current and future maintenance
